I've Got It! I Figured Out My YouTube Plan

I think I finally figured it out. I'm just going to do whatever pops into my little old head. My more cohesive videos will be Wednesday's Our Talks videos. Those will be all about my honest thoughts on various topics, but ones that just about anyone in the world can relate to. The anything goes videos will be my Friday Vlog videos. See what I was trying to do was stay within a niche with those, and that was gardening, or you might have even say I was able to call it homesteading. It was anything that included the animals, wild and domestic, and what I grow here on my property. That wasn't working though. I know there is a huge audience that is watching homesteading videos, but maybe because I don't really have what is considered a homestead, although that is as loose a term as loose terms go, or for the fact that I'm not off grid, or maybe what I was recording wasn't done in an entertaining enough way. Whatever it was, it wasn't working. So I will still have some videos where I show the garden, because that is a big part of my life right now, and I'm working on making it an even bigger part, because now grocery store food is beneath me. It's not good enough. I have truly gone full on snob. Oh, you mean you don't eat your corn within four hours after picking it? Hmm I stick my nose up at you sir, and your starchy corn. Seriously though you ever grown your own food? Extremely difficult, which was a bit surprising, because it is a lot more than just putting the seeds in the ground, but boy oh boy is it worth it. 

The Our Talks will also be very simple, and mostly unedited. Aside from the necessary jump cuts, which I hate with a passion, but if I need to, I will, and if truly needed, any images that will help visualize what I am talking about. I hope to keep those to rare occasions though, because I want this to be like two friends sitting down talking, except I'm the one doing all the talking haha 

I want to save the fun stuff for the Vlogs. Camera tricks, different angles, reaction shots from movies, and television. I have those in my head a lot when I say something, or make a reference to one of the shows or movies, and I like to include those whenever possible without overdoing it. On my channel I had before this one, I used to do that, and I really enjoyed it. So Friday's videos will be truly more of just a Vlog. Not really any niche, just whatever I can pick out of the week that might be interesting enough or informative to film. I've got some things lined up that I think could be quite interesting. At least to me. They center around back to basics, and making things with your hands. Quite a bit of that, which I really like, and I think can be intriguing to watch as well. I'll be glad once I do actually get a following so they can throw ideas out at me, because yes it is my channel to a point, but it will also be theirs. Have to always remember that, and never get too big for my boots.
